Scenic Smokies Cabin Getaway

Ready to get back out there and travel again? We are OPEN! Featherwinkle Cabin is located in a secluded resort with family friendly amenities and a pool that is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Enjoy your morning coffee on the deck and take in the views of the mountains! Even though we are in a quiet setting, we are very convenient to all of the area's attractions! Dollywood is 10 minutes away, Ober Gatlinburg is 20 minutes away, and Great Smoky Mountains National Park entrance is 20 minutes away. Our beautiful home away from home sits at the end of a culdesac and offers everything you need for a perfect vacation! We are 4 miles from the Parkway, so close to it all yet far enough away to be very quiet! A ramp brings you onto the wrap around porch and right up to the front door. Step into the vaulted, open living area with hardwood floors, granite countertops, and all the appliances you need. The 2 bedrooms (1 King, 1 Queen) and 2 full bathrooms are also on the main floor so you never have to climb a staircase to access the living spaces. Upstairs in the spacious loft is a game room with a pool table, DVD player and board games. There is an extra queen bed and futon for additional sleeping options. From the loft, you can step out onto a private deck to escape it all. Downstairs on the porch you can relax in the hot tub or in the rocking chairs. There is a gas grill available for preparing your favorite meals. Make this your next favorite vacation spot!

Family Getaway

Our Second Visit to Featherwinkle

This cabin is great for families, girls getaway, or quiet vacation. Cabin is very clean, kitchen well stocked, beds are comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone, and hope to maybe stay there again next time!

We had a great time at the cabin! no one was in the closest two cabins near us the entire time, so we had extreme privacy! We loved the fact that it was the last cabin on a dead end!

Great Mountain Retreat

Our family enjoyed staying in this cozy cabin during our annual Thanksgiving get-away! Our only regret is that we did not plan enough time away to take in all the sights AND enjoy some time of rest and relaxation. This location is perfect for both!

Perfect Cozy Cabin to welcome the New Year!

The cabin is as described, very clean, cozy, has everything you need, and it’s pretty close to all the attractions. Heather is great , she responds to all questions and makes sure she can always be reached. The area is very quite and relaxing. We had a wonderful time bringing in the New Year. Can’t wait to be back!

Great place to stay and close to the SCC!

We stayed here during a week that we would be going & forth to the Sevierville Convention Center regularly. It was a great bc it took about 5 minutes or so to get there. Loved that! The property was very nice, very clean with everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The beds were comfy too (something I want to know before I stay somewhere!). Thank you for sharing your cabin with us!

Girls trip!

Nice cabin. I have stayed in that resort before further up the hill. Loved the fireplace. We all felt more care is needed in cleaning. Hair on the bathroom floor (not mine) and bed pillows either need washing or replaced.

Great place to stay!

Featherwinkle Cabin was wonderful. Close enough to everything without being on top of it. Didn’t use the pool but loved that it was literally right down the hill from us if we wanted to go. Everything was neat and clean. Beds were comfortable and hot tub was warm and spotless. There was also a nice supply of DVDs, video games, and board games. Loved the wrap around porch and all the outdoor seating. Lots of attention to details that made the stay extra nice. Our group had a great time. We would absolutely stay here again!

We loved this cabin!

This cabin was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. Cozy and quiet! We traveled to Tennessee for a volleyball tournament and this was a perfect location! The convention center was about 5 minutes away. The Kroger and restaurants were about 10 minutes away, so it made for easy driving. We traveled to Gatlinburg (about 40 minutes and Pigeon Forge 20 minutes) during some free time. Overall this was great find and would highly recommend it.

Quite and Relaxing

Had a nice relaxing stay at the Featherwinkle Cabin during spring break. Cabin is located away from the craziness of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg but close enough to enjoy some fun. Parking was great (flat) compared to other cabins in the area. I couldn’t imagine trying to load and unload a car on an incline, yikes! The hot tub was also a nice bonus especially during rainy days and after a long day at the area attractions. This cabin was clean, updated and had everything we needed. The only suggestion I can think of is adding additional lighting, the cabin was kind of dim throughout the kitchen, dining, living area, otherwise everything was great! Thank you so misch for sharing your cabin with us we look forward to a future stay at your cabin.
