Located on 40 acres of Hatcher's family land with a private hiking trail for you to enjoy and explore. Very private with posted driveway. The cabin is 1790ft elevation overlooking the family farm on the valley floor below. It also has great views facing the 4000ft Cove Mountain.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely love this little cabin. We did have a few hang ups. The cabin wasn’t cleaned prior to us checking in and we couldn’t get the cleaners up there due to the snow. Francis and the owner of the cabin did get us fresh linens and we cleaned the cabin ourselves. And of course Francis made it right and agreeable for our satisfaction. This cabin company is always so accommodating. The furniture is getting worn and probably needs to be updated soon.

We loved the location and views of the property! The cabin is down a gravel drive and secluded. The parking area was easy to park and turn vehicle around to come & go. The cabin was clean and the hot tub was clear and ready for our use. We only cooked a couple meals in the cabin, but it had the needed pots, pans, and cooking utensils. There is a spiral staircase to the bedroom on the lower level. There is also an older pull-out couch on the main level.

It's the perfect size for my husband and I but can accommodate 2 additional people with the sofa sleeper. And oh...the view is absolutely stunning!!

It was just as advertised. It was clean. Great views. The bathrooms are small and a little outdated and extra linens weren’t provided for the sofa bed, but otherwise that it was a good stay!

This is a wonderful cabin, totally secluded from other’s view. The narrow winding stairs could be a challenge if you are overweight, but not a problem if you take your time and are careful. We thought they were kind of fun.

Staircase can be a little tricky and downstairs shower water pressure wasn’t the best but the cabin was clean and comfortable for our honeymoon. Views were spectacular. We will definitely be back!

Property was as described. We really enjoyed our stay. Cabin was decorated for the season, which was a nice touch. We sat on the deck and enjoyed the view, and listened to the squirrels chase acorns. The privacy was exactly what we wanted, and it was private. The hot tub was a nice perk, enjoyed coffee in the mornings and a drink in the evenings. The farm below was filled with cows mooing and a donkey braying, we loved listening to them. Would definitely stay again.

We ate breakfast and dinner there most days (7 nights). Location to GSMNP was one of our reasons for staying as we hiked daily. The hot tub was enjoyable.Two cautions: road leading to cabin is steep and narrow. The winding stairway to lower floor, where bed is, isn’t for a anyone with balance issues.

Being in Wears Valley we were away from all the people but yet still only 15 min drive into Pigeon Forge. We like staying in Wears Valley cause it’s quit and we can be in the National park in 10 min. The only issue we had was finding the cabin. Google maps has two Indigo Ln’s and not a Indigo way. The directions say driveway just past lighted lamppost. What was failed to be mentioned was the lamp post was burnt in the Hatcher Mountain-Indigo Lane fire 3/30/22. There is now Cove Mountain Reality sign in its place. over all we enjoyed our short stay at the Hatcher’s Mountain Cabin.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was able to book this cabin just a week ahead of time for a late-planned weekend getaway. I liked the location being 30 min drive to Dollywood and 1 hr drive to Cades Cove. The cabin was nicely secluded from the heavy tourist areas and spaced out from the other cabins, but just a 5 min drive from the main road with some diners and coffee shops. Cabin was well-kept and clean with plenty of towels provided. Perfect size for 2 people. We liked the hot tub and the back patio view of the mountains was pretty. We wished some ground coffee or tea was provided to make, so next time I would bring some (they provide just salt, pepper, and cookware/dishes). The gravel road to get to our cabin was unmarked so we were unsure if it was right at first since it was night, but we followed Google maps and found it. The gravel road to the cabin is a little steep and winding, but we were able to drive fine on it without 4-wheel drive during the fall. Overall a great place to stay to enjoy the Smokey Mountains!
