This cabin looked exactly like the pictures and it was very clean. Even tho you have neighbors you are secluded enough to fill like there’s no one around you. I will definitely book from Timber Tops Again.
Great cabin and close to everything! We rent a different cabin in this resort every year and we have never been disappointed. The only thing I didn’t like, was that this cabin was rented from a business and we had to make an extra stop to “check in”. They were friendly, though!
We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Having the indoor pool on site was nice. Beds were comfortable. It had a cozy feel and all the appliances worked. The jacuzzi was large and filled up quickly! Our only complaints are the futon did not have a cover and appeared stained with what I hoped wasn't body fluids but definitely looked like it. We steered clear to be safe. The kitchen was not well stocked for cooking if that's something you plan on doing. Overall, would still recommend.
We had a great stay at Dancing Bears Den over Spring Break. The cabin is clean and tucked away in a cul-de-sac, only a short walk to the pool, and within ten minutes of Dollywood. We liked the hot tub, comfortable couches, decently-equipped kitchen (make sure you bring any spices with you), and televisions in every room of the cabin. The view from the front porch is pretty, so rockers or something other than a bench would've been nice to watch the sunset. The back porch has rockers and a dining table, along with the hot tub, and while there's a hill view in the winter, we found the front porch view more appealing. The pool was closed for repair during our entire five night stay, which was disappointing, since it was one of the main reasons we booked this cabin. Besides that we had a lovely vacation at Dancing Bears Den, and found it a great neighborhood to rent multiple cabins with family or friends. Recommendations for the area-we really enjoyed the Pirate's Voyage Dinner Show, but found Anakeesta overcrowded and overpriced for the available amenities. Booking online in advance and showing up early is recommended for most everything in the area.

Underimpressed
The cabin itself was alright, but the furnishings and kitchen items seemed to be garage sale finds…. Old and outdated. The bathroom with the washer/dryer smelled strongly of urine anywhere near the commode, very unpleasant to say the least. We’ve stayed in multiple condos and cabins and the cabin was o r of the worst overall. Towel rack was missing a large chuck of wood in the center making it useless. The maintenance man came to fix that along with the hot tub and he said “ no one likes to go to town to get parts so I had to make due… there are a lot of trees around here…..” yes he had cut a tree branch and glued it in place. While it served it’s purpose, we had to be mindful of splinters on the towel. Both towels whistled loudly when flushed, the owner said “as long as it works, don’t mess with it”. The cleaning fee was only $55.00 and it showed. Dust was quite thick on the bathroom towels rack and light switch plates, chest and bed crevices, one of the artificial Christmas tree had noticeable cobwebs on it. I could continue but i think you get the jest of it.
Upon our friends arrival soon after the 4:00 check before they closed at 6, it was 80 degrees inside the cabin. They called because the AC was broken were told it was an emergency and would be handled. We left for the evening. When we came back the AC still wasn’t working so we again called and was informed it would be addressed. 1.5 hours later we again called after hearing nothing and we’re told to call every 30 min. After hearing nothing we again called and explained the situation after being in hold we were transferred to a manager who asked if we had any children, elderly, or people with health issues. When I informed her know she stayed that that is why it wasn’t treated as an emergency. It was after 1 in the morning when I finally got off the Phone with the manager who informed me nothing would be done because they had closed. We had to call again the next day as the sun came up the cabin temp rose as of there was no working air. Finally the AC was fixed. Through the entire process no one called or related any information to us. We received no communication or apology. We also found a huge roach in the kitchen and the shower curtain had mold. Overall we were hoping to have a relaxing weekend get away and it turned into us making phone call after phone call trying to get a cool place to sleep…AC is a listed amenity that we paid for and we’re not granted for half the vacation. Will not recommend or stay here again.

Could be so great!!
Overall was great for the time spent. Surfaces were clean but the neglect was almost immediately apparent. Christmas tree still up, needs deep cleaning in the worst way. Not a full size pool table. Hot tub wasn't plugged in. Can see light all around front door even when latched. Deer head over looking the bed!?!?!? Awkward. Would not recommend.

Not enough time!
We spent two nights at the Dancing Bear Den. We enjoyed the back deck and the pool table. The cabin was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of towels for all of us. It would have been nice to have simple seasonings - salt and pepper. We enjoyed our stay and the location!

This cabin was filthy!!!
I had to strip both beds immediately upon entering the cabin. There was food crumbs in the one bed.
The bathrooms were disgusting! Bloody band aide on rug. Bathroom rugs were soiled and full of dirt. Dust everywhere, floors were so dirty not cleaned at all. I had to call the office and have someone come clean the bathrooms. I come to have a fun vacation and instead Im having to clean a cabin just so we could stay in it!! I went and bought new rugs for the bathrooms because there was no way we were going to use those nasty things!! I had to lysol everything because the entire cabin smelled gross. I will never stay here again!!!
The Dancing Bears Den was great!! The manager called us ahead of time with the entry codes so we code checkin early. We had everything we needed during our stay as well. Everyone loved the cabin as well. We as stayed in the Gather cabin about 10 years back so we weren’t to surprised that everything was in its proper place. Be back again soon!! Thanks
We were looking for a cabin for my family to celebrate my birthday. We were late planning the trip so I used VRBO to find a cabin. The process was very easy and the cabin was great. Our family was very comfortable there and the amenities were as listed. The check in and out processes were very easy. I would absolutely use them again!
