The Space:
Located within the desirable Sky Harbor Resort, wildlife is just the beginning of the adventures you’ll find here from scenic hikes winding through the abundance of trails to thrilling big-city attractions and nightlife and everything in between. In no time at all, the resort will feel like your own personal wooded paradise, a tranquil place for relaxation and connecting with the great outdoors. Enjoy your fresh cup of morning coffee out on the home’s private deck under the natural shaded canopy, planning out the day’s list of activities. In the evenings, there’s nothing better than a relaxing soak in the bubbling hot tub to help ease the rest of your stress away.

When you’re ready to turn things up a notch, The Parkway is your direct route to all the fun and entertainment of downtown Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Be sure to drop by the Sevierville County Courthouse to snap a selfie with the life-size statue of country music legend Dolly Parton, afterward heading over to Dollywood in Pigeon Forge for a fun-filled day of roller coasters, rides, live shows, and true Smoky Mountain hospitality. More family-friendly activities await in nearby Gatlinburg, such as Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, one of the top-rated aquariums in the U.S. Don’t miss a visit to the Gatlinburg SkyBridge, the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in North America for the best panoramic views around. Of course, you can’t pass up the opportunity to take a leisurely or athletic hike through the Great Smoky Mountains via one of several trailheads just a short distance from the home.

The home’s cozy, quintessential cabin interior showcases soaring wood ceilings, large picture windows filling the space in abundant natural light, and comfortable furnishings waiting to welcome you home at the end of long days of exploration. Sink into plush sofa or recliner seating while you catch up on episodes of your favorite shows on the smart TV, a fireplace nearby to keep you warm during cooler months. The open floorplan leads you right into the well-equipped kitchen where whipping up homecooked meals is a breeze between the full-sized appliances and ample cabinetry stocked with cookware and dining ware. Take a seat at the high-top table for dining or a quick game of cards while you work up an appetite. For bigger stakes, the loft offers a pool table where the shark in you can tap into your competitive side.

This home comfortably sleeps 5 guests between a private bedroom, a full size sleeper sofa in the living room, and a twin size bed in the loft. The bedroom includes a luxurious king size bed fitted with crisp linens and soft blankets for a great night’s sleep, along with a smart TV and Jacuzzi bathtub. The home’s full bathroom includes a single vanity and shower/tub combo.

THINGS TO NOTE:
• Washer and dryer in home.
• Driveway parking available for up to 2 vehicles.

Pigeon Forge is just 5.5 miles from the home, and the historic charm of downtown Gatlinburg is 7 miles away. Take a day trip into Townsend (20 miles) with additional national park access, shops, dining, and river tubing. Famous country singer, Dolly Parton, was born in Sevier County, making it a monumental place for devoted fans to visit. Dollywood, a family theme park jointly owned by Parton is located 8 miles from the home. If you’re looking to shop till you drop, the town and surrounding areas are dotted with galleries, boutiques, antique malls, flea markets, and so much more! Whether you’re chasing waterfalls, seeking out the best southern BBQ, or just wingin’ it, you’re sure to enjoy all of your time in the gorgeous Smoky Mountains.

Great Location, but Lacking Some Essentials

We recently stayed at this cabin in Tennessee and found it to be in a great location with beautiful surroundings. The property was exactly as described and shown in the listing, which we appreciated. Communication with the host was seamless and prompt. Also, the cabin was very clean. However, there were a few drawbacks. The king bed was very uncomfortable, making it hard to get a good night’s sleep. Additionally, the kitchen was missing some basic essentials like a skillet or frying pan, and cutting board, which made cooking a challenge.Overall, it’s a nice place if you’re not planning to cook much and can overlook the bed situation. A few improvements could make this stay much better!
