The cabin was peaceful, super clean and an easy drive to the attractions. One evening, we saw a mama bear with her two cubs. We enjoyed our stay very much!
Our stay was great! We had plenty of room and it was close to the event that we were attending. It wasn’t hard to get to there wasn’t a lot of high winding roads.
cabin i s beautiful, we even seen a bear in the hayfield. properly sleeps 9 people comfortably!! The hot tub was refreshing after a day of exploring the towns nearby, was set at a comfortable temp.
Absolutely perfect! The location, the mountain view and comfort. This cabin had everything and more for a fantastic first time trip to the mountains. We are already talking about our next one.
Perfect cozy and spacious cabin located in the Wears Valley area - just the right distance from everything. An easy drive to Dollywood, Gatlinburg and hiking trails. Lots of great dining and shopping options near by, but the cabin feels secluded, just the experience we were looking for. The cabin was clean, plenty of room for our family to stretch out after a long road trip. It was well stocked with everything we needed for the week and the Christmas decor was a nice surprise.
It was a beautiful place. I sat on the porch in the over sized swimg and gazed at the mountains. It was so peachful. Ill definitely be stayijg there again..... my son enjoyed the Legos alomg the top of the wall... Enjoyment for all ages
Overall, we had a very nice stay. We have stayed at many other properties and the cleanliness of this property was terrific.
I would suggest coming by to check trash when someone is staying several days because by the morning we checked out, we could not close the outside trash bin completely.
We had a bear that was able to open our outside trash bin two out of the five nights that we stayed. So we spent two mornings cleaning trash up around the property.😂 The paw prints on the trash bin were fun to see!
We would also suggest some more outside seating. If you say that the property accommodates nine people, it would be nice for nine people to be able to sit outside together without dragging out the kitchen chairs.
It would be nice to see you put steps up to the hot tub. There was no easy access to get in and out of the hot tub.
We did enjoy our visit and would suggest this property to others. Thanks for the memories!
Our family loved the cabin. It was perfect for our family of 5. It was spacious and clean. We enjoyed our stay immensely. It was peaceful and quiet but really just a quick drive into town.
We had a great stay at this cozy, pet-friendly cabin! The place has a warm, rustic vibe and is tucked away in a quiet, peaceful spot — perfect for unwinding. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. One of the highlights was seeing a mama bear and her cub right near the property, such a cool experience! Would definitely come back, especially with our dogs in tow.
Loved this cabin and everything about it. The view of the mountain is beautiful . A momma bear and 2 cubs came to see us almost every night, just watch the trash. She likes to get in it. There’s a lone bear that likes to visit too. This cabin is everything we hoped it would be and more. We’ll definitely be back.
The cabin was very nice and comfortable. However, the yard needed maintenance- leaves from last winter piled near fire pit and drive. There was poison ivy growing on the steps. The outdoor deck cushions were unusable.
Couldn't hook to WiFi. Sent host Will a text. No response. Garbage can not bear proof. Other than those 2 little things place was excellent. Would definitely stay again.
The cabin was great. I just have a few ideas for improvements. The queen bed upstairs could use a new mattress. It seems to dip in the middle. Also to add either another porch swing that could be used without having to lay down or add a rocking chair or two on the massive deck. We had our 1 month old granddaughter and a rocker would have been fantastic. And a larger garbage can In the kitchen is a necessity. A cabin that sleeps so many people but yet has a tiny garbage can.. made no sense to me. Other than that.. everything was great. We enjoyed our stay and saw a mama bear with her babies.
What was on the page and the reality of the house were two totally different things. The house was not clean, it hasn’t been cleaned the way it should be in a long time. The stove top was bad, the house was dusty, and the floors were scratched and scraped up from one end to the other. It was dark and you could not use the light in the hallways. The bathroom shower nobs in the upstairs bathroom were broke. The porch was dirty, and the porch swing was dirty. The porch needed to be painted and pressure washed. Big staines under the swing. There was a dip in the middle of the bed upstairs. The yard had debris, and broken glass in the yard. Could not use the fire pit it was full to the top with other peoples left over fire ashes. And could not sit on the bench and swing, or pick nick table. The brick wall in the yard was caved in, gate had fallen down, and the drive was a mess. The lawn was overgrown when we got there, they did mow it the next day but left piles of grass all over the yard.
