"The motel needs work done to it badly. The room we were in needed the walls cleaned as they had stuff on them. Anything else was very clean. It’s just a very dated motel. No hairdryer is what got me as that is a standard in all hotel/motels. The staff though were wonderful."

"Extremely happy with the stay, especially given the price. I’m also happy to be supporting a local business instead of staying at a massive hotel chain. The place is also located near a well-stocked Walmart, which made my travel resupply a fair bit easier and probably saved me about 20-30 minutes. Next time I’m driving anywhere near southern Virginia, I expect I’ll stay here again."

"We arrived late to the establishment. The owners left us a note with complete details on how to get to our room, including cookies that were left, snacks, and plenty of soda and water in the refrigerator. We got up to see the beautiful sunset and had to hit the road very early. When walking around the house it was absolutely gorgeous. Only bad thing I can say is that I wish I had more time to talk to them about the history of the house and spend more time looking at the wonderful antiques. If I’m ever in the area again, I would definitely plan on staying there."

"We felt so lucky to spend the night on short notice and the Inn was so nice! We will definitely stay again. Cute town with shops if you have time. Lovely dinner at the Inn and very nice breakfast included in our stay. The view at dinner was worth the few miles we drove off I-81."
Cozy Little Cabin Located Along The Banks Of A Beautiful Trout Stream

"Very beautiful remote mountain property. Listing description accurate as well as amenities. Very spacious screened in front porch. Back porch overlooks the stream, could literally fish off back deck it’s so close to the water. Very luxurious hot tub on back porch, can soak and enjoy the stream and forest view all at once. Rustic fire pit next to cabin was fun to sit by in evenings. Nice long side yard, could walk our dog at. (Very thankful host is pet friendly) Our host was easy to contact with questions and very nice to deal with. Overall, 5-star property and experience! Hope to come back again soon!"
