"Property in a nice landscape, but essential things for feeling well there are missing. Almost NO running tab water. No warm water. shower could not be used....no warming blankets. I will mot return :("

"One of the best experiences we have had in a privately rented out house. The owner was extremely friendly and treated us Ike family. The house is walking distance to the center of Strobrec, a suburb of Split with its marina and restaurants. There are also beaches just 3 minutes away which we enjoyed. "We had a wonderful week here. Our highlight was definitely the pool and outdoor area. The kitchen was well equipped, wifi strong throughout and beds comfy. The owner lives nearby, and was available on WhatsApp when we needed him (new coffee machine). I would suggest the owner could be a little more generous with his guests (he did not leave enough toilet rolls, dishwasher tablets or laundry soap) and that he should buy some plastic (pool-safe) cups and bowls. "Property is 23 hairpin bends up a mountain but that"s how u get the peace and quiet and amazing views. Only noise is from the insects and passing goat herd, with the occasional bray from the neighbour's donkey. Villa is perfectly adequate if a little basic but beds r superb, lots of towels r supplied and the pool is great. "We had a really lovely 2 week stay here in Podstrana. The appartment was very spacious and very well equipped. Our hostess Marija was on hand if needed. The views from all 3 balconies were fabulous and we enjoyed numerous evenings having supper on one of them and watching the sunset. Take beach towels! "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely home in Postira! The location was perfect as it was close to the beach as well as the many restaurants and shops in town. The home was large enough for our family of 10 to have some private space yet enjoy our time together in the common kitchen and by the pool.
