"This is the second time I have stayed at this property and I loved every minute! You get the sun for most of the day and the outdoor space is just beautiful. Everything is spotlessly clean, the hosts are wonderful and helpful and I can't wait to visit again!You definitely need a car to visit this location and the drive is better for experienced drivers. The beds are slightly too firm for my preference but each to their own. This place is magic, I hope to be able to visit for years to come!"

Highly recommend if staying here to rent car for short drives to the other locations around island for activities. Being near airport was not big deal we live just as near one where we are from and actually went down to do some plane spotting from awesome point."

"Location was superb for exploring the island as well as evening walks. The local cafe's were great for snacks and poncha! We made use of the pool and garden room most days. "What an awesome stay! The place is nestled in the mountains a few km above Sao Vicente. You’ll need wheels! It is a typical village surrounded by locals - not a tourist in site. The perfect getaway! The property itself was great. Obviously lived in, so you’re in somebody’s actual house rather than a faceless rental. Everything you need is there to cook, clean and sleep soundly.
