"The chalet was a glorified tool shed, but the pictures and description can kind of tell you that. It was peaceful outside by the little stream. The bed was as hard as a rock and it was bright in the morning because of no curtains. We ate dinner there, it was ok but we didn’t expect much. The staff were nice but not open the next day."

"We stayed in the main unit, a lovely and cozy cabin. The manager left notes about the weather and instructions on using everything in the cabin. The place had everything one could dream of, for a cabin in the woods. It was very comfortable and quiet, and we immensely enjoyed our stay. We originally booked one of the small units. The weather was not good. It was snowing a lot, and the manager was very considerate and changed us to the main unit. We are very grateful for this change. "

"I liked the location, which was relatively close to the National Park. The lodge itself had everything you needed. There is no A/C in the rooms, but did have a fan. I didn't need it because I went in early May and it was still nice and cold. The restaurant could have been a lot better. Barely felt like a restaurant. Also we weren’t informed notice of the location up the hill until a few days before our trip date and by then it was too late to cancel. Peaceful retreat
"Our vacation to Yosemite and Sequoia was wonderful and included staying at this beautiful house in the foothills in Three Rivers. Perfectly located and convenient to several restaurants and the Village Market where you’ll find everything you need (if you want to cook). Dusty was a wonderful host. Communicated timely. The home was stocked with everything you could possibly need, tastefully decorated and very cozy. Much appreciated after long days of hiking and exploring. We did not have the opportunity to enjoy the pool or spa but it looked very inviting and clean. The sound of the roaring river nearby was very peaceful. The road to get to the house is a single lane mountain road with some curves that can be problematic if you’re not paying attention or planning ahead for an oncoming car. Only once did someone else come around too fast. I highly recommend Dusty’s cabin if you are planning a trip to Sequoia NP!"
