"If you are looking for an experience, the Priory does not disappoint. The only room on the property for guests has ties to the Romans from the year 1070. The church itself is decommissioned, but continues to host concerts. Being from the United States, opportunities to be surrounded by such history do not exist. "To be honest, there wasn’t much to like although it was cheap. Pretty much in an industrial area, the rooms are adequate and clean enough but the Aircon was not up to the job and there were a lot of bugs in my room. When we were there the restaurant Was inoperable and we had to look for somewhere to eat on the industrial estate. I might have been more forgiving if they had rung to tell us this as we were arriving late after a long drive.I won’t be going back."
