"Well the big unexpected surprise for our trip! Wonderful little hotel in a fantastic city, that deserves a couple nights. Sadly we only stopped for the night on our way north. Adele was just wonderful!! The location great!! Rooms were big, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was perfect. Also La Pampanini Pizza, best we've had!!! I believe it was Salvatore that served us. Super nice and good english. Anyways, Benevento is worth taking some time. "

One of the most impressive aspects was the daily housekeeping. It was refreshing to feel genuinely taken care of, rather than having to chase down basic customer service. (Yes, Disney—this one’s for you!) The atmosphere of Palazzo Cannavina was warm and welcoming. Breakfast was a highlight—served upon request and beautifully presented, it felt more like being a guest in someone’s refined home than staying in a hotel and with Castello Monforte just steps from your door, you’re quite literally surrounded by history. Campobasso itself is a hidden gem. The local shopping and dining were charming, with an authenticity that’s hard to find in more tourist-heavy spots. The people of Campobasso are kind, welcoming, and clearly excited to share their city with visitors. "
