Six bedrooms, five with queen beds, bonus room with 4 single beds, sleeper sofa. and blowup mattresses available, 4 full baths on level 1 and 2. 3 levels, 2 family rooms each with TV, 2 upper decks, gas grill, gas fireplace, fire pit, covered patio, 2 car garage, deep water cove, short easy walk to water and dock. cable TV, WiFi.

Tranquil stay

Quiet, peaceful, tranquil location with lovely home. Great kitchen with all the appliances and gadgets you may need. The lake is pristine and calm and the dock, canoe, and kyacks let you enjoy it for hours a day.

Clemson Thanksgiving

Our daughter is at Clemson and we have family in Charleston so we wanted to do a Thanksgiving getaway to incorporate all and the big game on Saturday after Thanksgiving! Everyone loves the house and we had plenty of room to spread out and be together. Tranquil Lane does not disappoint!

Well appointed home in fantastic location. Kitchen is well stocked. Top quality beds and linens. 4 min boat ride to landing at High Falls. 7 min boat ride to The Lighthouse.

October retreat

The home was beautiful in a quiet setting. There was plenty of room for 9 people and plenty to do, like fishing off the dock, canoeing and relaxing. We had everything we needed to enjoy a long weekend. Lake Keowee was a great place for a fall getaway!

Perfection on the lake.

I had wedding guests in town from UK and over the states. Everyone had a fabulous time, the house is huge and has plenty of rooms and space so that you are not on top of each other. We jumped in the lake and swam or kayaked every morning and sat by the fire a couple of the nights. I wish it was my year round house!

I cannot say enough good things about this beautiful property. The homeowners were so accommodating and gracious!! We enjoyed the spacious home and all the amenities kayaking, fishing and relaxing in the quiet cove on Lake Keowee. Grocery shopping was neatly by so we were able to cook all our meals in the well equipped kitchen. We are looking forward to our next trip to this tranquil location!

Our Favorite House

This was the 5th time we rented Gene's house -- it's perfect for our family and located just one cove from my son's dock and boat lift. House is always well supplied. If we use something up, we replace it. Have already booked for 2025.

Family Vacation 2023

This property is beautiful. We loved the location. There is a great dock in a cove away from the main lake traffic. The kids could swim without the worry of boats coming close. 100% the best vacation rental I have ever stayed in. This home had lots of space and everything my family needed. I would rent it again.

Great family get together

All the brother, sisters, and spouses just had a great time. We had more than enough parking for are cars and pontoon boat & trailer. The bedrooms & bathrooms were all spacious and clean. The kitchen & dining areas were spacious and well equipped. Our host was very accommodating and even called to see if everything was ok and asked if we needed anything. The weather and the lake were perfect too. Thanks you!

Best House

We have stayed here several times. For us it is the Best location and Best House. Easy access to dock- can bring our boat and jet ski. Beautiful and quiet cove for swimming and paddle boarding. Large kitchen for all our meals. Love the outside decks and yard for kids and our dogs. Mr. Best takes care of issues ASAP. Would highly recommend for fun lake vacation. Debbie and Marty, SC

Military Appreciation Game weekend

Our adult children joined us for the Clemson Military Appreciation game. Both of our boys currently active duty one a graduate of Clemson joined us as we returned to our Alma Mater for the game. House was perfect size, plenty of room for all and the property was gorgeous! Enjoyed the fire pit to make s’mores and a great time was had by all.

Relaxing stay

Our family enjoyed this property for a week. The location on the lake was perfect for exploring both the north and south ends of Lake Keowee. The dock was spacious enough for sitting and it offered the perfect setup for tying up our boat. The home was clean and spacious. The master bed was very comfortable. The beds in the downstairs had very firm mattresses according to family members. The kitchen has most everything you need although it could use some organizing and cleaning out of items that are in disrepair. We always appreciate it when homes allow us to bring our dogs. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the future!

Fantastic, better than advertised!

Pictures don't do the place justice, it is setup and maintained as a very nice comfortable vacation home. The house was clean, beds were comfortable, plenty of towels and hot water. The yard and docks are well maintained, there is a nice beach to launch the canoe. On the lake the house is situated at the end of private cover so it gets no boat traffic, but the cove opens up to an area perfect for tubing and towing someone so don't have drive far. Slight problem with check in but was resolved within 5/10 minutes and communication was good throughout. The house has all the little things you'd want, you can tell its maintained well and the owner takes care of it.

Intimate wedding ceremony

Most beautiful property. Very peaceful. Warming nature energy. We reserved this location for our small intimate wedding ceremony. Absolutely perfect in every way. We were able to have the ceremony in the spacious backyard looking out at lake. We had 30 people as guest and everyone was comfortable and all loved the property. I’m sure there will be some bookings from our friends and family for this property. Gene, the owner, was above and beyond in communicating with us. Even though I didn’t get to met him he just felt like a longtime friend of the family.

Keowee Hurricane

This was planned to be a family trip from Sunday to Sunday. Gorgeous home on a beautiful lake with plenty of room for all of us. THe water was clear and warm - much nicer than what we have in central NC. Unfortunately our kids weren't able to join us until Wednesday evening. Beginning Thursday, Helene started coming Through and then on Thursday night, it came in earnest. Many trees down and no power but the house was fine. But as a result we had to cut our vacation short leaving Friday afternoon. All that being said, the Host was helpful and as accommodating as he could be. We'd rent there again in a heartbeat. Our kids will have stories to tell about how they rode out a hurricane on Lake Keowee.
