We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Monterey Sendai. It has an old world charm, and the spa on the top floor is delightful. It is very close to the central train station and in a fantastic part of the city. Highly recommend the hotel- we would definitely stay there again.

Such a conveniently located hotel across from Sendai station. The sauna and hot tub plus free beer was a nice way to relax in the afternoon too. Rooms were great and roomy. Overall perfect location and great value for money.

This property is super convenient. It is right in front of the Sendai Station and there was shopping and restaurants as soon as we stepped outside the hotel door. The staff was friendly and the rooms were comfy.

部屋に入った瞬間トイレの便座が外れているのに気が付いた。理由は分からないがチェックイン前に清掃した人が意図的にフロントに連絡していないと想像している。また古いホテルなので様々な所で匂いが全体的に臭く、古い施設の悪い典型のホテル。 チェックアウトの時にフロントで問題点を少し指摘したが、女性スタッフから全然悪びれない表情でただ言葉だけの謝罪をされ、とても気分が悪かった。

スタッフのサービスレベルが４ツ星ホテルとしては不満。①チェックイン時に予約があるにもかかわらず、システムで見つけるのに3分以上かかった。②クロークの荷物を見つけるのに、2分以上かかった。③宅急便の出荷を依頼したが、控えもらえなかった。④結婚式の礼服を宅急便で送り宅配便の会社からは、到着の連絡があったが、次の日にブライダル部門から未着との電話があり、再調査でやっと荷物が見つかった。

概ね満足。 客室TVが映像は映るものの音声が無く、対処にしばらく時間を取られたのが些か残念。 (最終的にはリモコンで再起動したら問題なく観られるようになりました。) ネットで対処法を調べた際に同じ件でレビューされている方を見かけたので(その方はスタッフを呼んだ模様)、こう言った部分のメンテナンス・確認もしっかりして頂ければと思います。 客室シャワーの強弱が調節可能(粗く強め・微細やわらかめ)なのが良かったです。
