"Very comfortable bedding. Room was clean and well cared for. The lighting in the room was on the darkish side, especially bathroom lighting for make up application. Our room was on the 2nd floor and that required navigating our luggage up about 7 steps. Do not go to "Belley" unless you are seeking just alcohol because the entire menu seemed unavailable. Had a wonderful dinner experience at Louise's. Good food, good service and reasonable prices. Would stay here again unless I am interested spending lots of money to stay at the Fronentac in Old Quebec."

"We had a lovely room on an upper floor with a great view. The room needed some attention - phone didn’t work, there was a crack in the bathroom basin and some laminate flooring pieces were lifting. However, the Ciel restaurant was a great experience and the location was great. I would certainly stay there again."

"Stayed in a Jr. Suite for 2 nights prior to boarding our cruise ship. The suite was very upscale including the bathroom with heated floors. The staff was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. I would highly recommend staying at the Hotel Port Royal. I would not recommend eating at the hotel restaurant. It’s very pricey and the meal was not worth the price, very disappointing. However, the pizzeria across the street was excellent."
