"Das große Ferienhaus ist sehr schön, im Inneren ansprechend gestaltet u. die Küche zum eigenen Kochen gut ausgestattet. Die Lage direkt am Wasser mit eigenem Bootssteg u. Wasserzugang ist toll und die Aussicht von Terrasse/Balkonen aus aufs Wasser, den benachbarten Bootsanlegesteg und den ggü liegenden Uferstreifen natürlich wunderbar. Den vermissen wir jetzt schon. Wetter u. Temperatur waren uns Anfang Mai leider nicht hold, aber im Haus war es angenehm temperiert u.den tollen Ausblick konnten wir Dank bodentiefer Fenster und Terrasse/Balkonen mit durchsehbaren Geländern in allen Etagen trotzdem genießen. Zu beachten ist, dass es eine Art Hangreihenhaus ist u. die Räume auf 3 Etagen verteilt sind, also natürlich einiges an Treppen im Haus zu steigen ist u. der Hauseingang sich nicht auf Straßenhöhe befindet, sondern quasi im Souterrain-Geschoss, wo Wohn-/Essbereich/Küche/Gästetoilette (auf ca. Seehöhe) sind. Das Gepäck erst die Treppe zum Hauseingang hinunter u.danach wieder 1 bzw. 2 Treppenabsätze hinauf in die SchlafZi im 1.St. (auf Straßenhöhe) u. 2.St. zu transportieren, ist etwas umständlich u. war für uns 2 ältere, nicht mehr ganz so sportliche Semester etwas anstrengend, aber zu bewältigen. Dafür hat uns der Seeblick "entschädigt", außerdem hat jedes SchlafZi-Stockwerk praktischerweise ein eigenes Badezimmer zur Verfügung. In d. direkt aneinander gebauten Ferienhäusern sind Wohnungen/Terrassen/Balkone alle nah nebeneinander, was es hellhörig macht."

Promenaden Hotel

"This is a beautiful old hotel property. It has great bones and the rooms have been updated and modernized nicely. That said, there are some very quirky aspects to the property. Firstly, there is no reception - just an automated machine that provides a key card. This means that there is no one to ask about parking, amenities etc. The second thing is that no one speaks English at all. The cleaning staff was very sweet but could not speak a word. We had to use Google Translate for all interactions including ordering breakfast, asking for towels, etc. Finally, the public spaces are very austere. This seems out of place with the historic hotel. For example, there are just IKEA tables and chairs in the eating area but then there is a large open foyer on the second floor with a grand piano. But there are no chairs or couches in that room. It seems with a bit of TLC this could be a great boutique hotel and cool place to hang out. This is especially true when you consider the location right across the street from the historical theatre where we attended the International Ballet Festival."

"The room was very clean and in great condition. The bed was super comfy and the pillows were nice and plush. The closet was a huge walk in style so I was able to unpack and not have to feel like living out of a luggage bag. I loved the in room refrigerator. The shower was powerful and luxurious. Internet connected easy and was a good speed for working. Being an American speaking English only all staff was kind and spoke English for me. I felt right at home."

"Room was spacious, quiet and the shower was powerful. Lovely view and nice balcony facing woodland. I seemed not to be able to draw the curtains, but no big deal for me, might be an issue for some. Overall I enjoyed my stay and I’d come back again for sure."
