"We had a fantastic stay at this cottage over the Labour Day weekend. The space was very clean and cozy, with plenty of room for our group of 5. The lake views were the highlight—sitting on the lounge chairs overlooking the water was incredibly relaxing. While accessing the water directly from the property wasn't as easy as we had hoped, Deon, the host, provided us with great alternative options nearby for swimming. The cottage even had yoga mats available, which was a thoughtful touch for those of us wanting to stretch and unwind by the lake. Our evenings spent by the outdoor fire made the experience even more memorable. Deon was very responsive and kind, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our visit. The neighbourhood was perfect for walks and runs, with friendly neighbours. The Peacock Point General Store, just a short walk away, had the friendliest staff. The beach, hiking trails, and grocery stores were just a short drive away, making everything convenient without being too far from the cottage. We would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing stay. "

"Definitely enjoyed this cozy cottage steps from the lake with large front and back yard. Would strongly recommend. (Only very minor issue was that the property owner went radio silent once our stay began so none of our few questions were answered, but again not that big a deal.) Weather was fantastic and the lake was perfect, but even if it had rained all week, the cottage itself would have been great for the family to just get away from it all."
