"Great place to stay in Melrose with plenty of free onsite parking. Cooked breakfast was a good portion with bread, pastries, cereal also included."

"Beautiful grounds, great golf and spa. Whisky bar is fabulous, restaurants very good. Staff were really nice and helpful, our Estate room was great. All in all a fabulous weekend."

"A very nice place to stay in Peebles, right in the middle of the town. Very convenient to explore the town. Excellent restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Friendly staff. Free parking, which is nice. But note: there is a steep hill to climb with luggage from the car park to the hotel lobby."

"We enjoyed the accommodations. The place is definitely a secret gem! The place was quiet, secluded and charming. Once we found it, our group just raved over it. We much appreciated the hospitality and the sheep. It is one of the best places we have ever stayed. Would highly recommend."

"It was an amazing find, travelling South on a long journey from Stornoway to Keswick. I began to feel tired in the afternoon, so I stopped the car went onto Expedia and found this place. The price was very reasonable for August, and the hotel was lovely, a little off the beaten track, but there was a local shop 2 mins away. Staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. I’m going to bookmark this one."
