"Magnificent setting on beautiful Ill River. Beautiful suite with everything one could ask for. Each and every member of the staff was professional, warm and helpful. The dining, especially the incredible Auberge de l'Ill restaurant and the beautiful breakfasts overlooking the Ill were spectacular. We will remember this experience forever!"
"Beautiful place, newly reconstructed. No room service / no room cleaning during the stay, but amazing linen bed sheets. Unconvincing dialogs with the owners... 3 Danes (big dogs) running around. The scheme of breakfast need to change, now it is in style "do you want this, do you want that?"... no smorgasbord... Luxurious Italian restaurant inhouse. "

"A fabulous property in a great spot for exploring Selestat and the wider Alsace region. We were warmly greeted by Raymond on arrival, and even when we'd locked ourselves out he promptly popped over to assist, with a smile on his face. Fresh berries from the garden were an unexpected bonus. I wouldn't hesitate to return in future. "
"This small hotel is in the middle of a very old town, an old building with beautiful features. It seems to be run by a very friendly and welcoming family who are keen to look after you extremely well.
It has no 24/7 reception, so realise that you can not drop your bag off before 4pm, as the hotel is shut up before then (my bad).
Quaint restaurant, with hearty, fresh food, great local wine and friendly service. Lovely dessert.
