"What a great venue , old school room sizes with everything you need , a king bed , a full sofa , work table and 4 piece bathroom . The breakfast surely will delight those that have morning pick me ups for a busy day . What I liked was the old school door locks , you handed the key to the desk when you left the site and picked it up on return , 24 hour reception , short walk to center of Bassano . I have no problem recommending this hotel !"

"The hotel, the location and staff if excellent. It is quiet retreat away from the hustle and bustle of Venice city. Perfect to relax close to nature. The man made lake provides perfect backdrop. The hotel staff is very helpful from the moment we checked in with Gloria. I would always recommend booking the Spa as soon as you done the hotel booking. Anna at the bar was brilliant when she made my drink she made it perfectly and even asked me to check if it is to my likings. Breakfast was lovely with both hot and cold options. We were served by (apologies if I say the name wrong) Marianeal, she was running the show as one man band. From leading the guests to the tables, topping up the food, getting us hot drinks and clearing the tables. Nothing was too much for her. There are few drawbacks in the hotel I found, where the hotel needs to improve on. One of them was no room water available. Everything you have to purchase as part of mini bar, even water with marked up prices. Even around the hotel you have to purchase bottled water. Rooms had slippers to offer but no gowns. Being a four star hotel I would expect that to be available. Bar prices were quite steep as well but expected being a remote location. I guess you pay for the location and feel rather than the actual drink. Check out time was changed from 12 to 11 and was only notified at the reception at the time of checking in, but Gloria swiftly rectified that for us. So all in all a very good, nice relaxing hotel."

"A very charming and unique hotel. The staff are pleasant, but they seemed to be a bit short staffed, particularly on the week days. We only had breakfast one day because the selection was a bit limited and they were out of a couple things that were not replenished before we were done. I suspect that with more staff, they were better stocked on the weekend. We left on Saturday morning and there were more people at breakfast. The breakfast is quite inexpensive. I also have some concerns about the feral cats running around the property. My little Yorkie barked at one of them, so she came at us, fast! I picked him up to protect him, so she continued to run after me, trying to claw at my leg as I ran toward the door. Feral cats usually will not do this unless they have a neurological disorder or rabies, so be careful. Some guests were petting several and they were fine, but this one did not sit with the pack."
