"I arrived and the owner wasn’t expecting me even though I had booked earlier that day through Expedia. The room was fine, hard mattress but I like that. A bit outdated and hard worn sheets but I slept really well. I asked about dinner and the owner said yes 7:30. I was sat in reception alone (in the dark as the light kept going off) and served a bowl of pasta with chopped up smoked salmon and cheese, a dry crepe and a terrible packaged flan. "Great room and had A/C given the heat was amazing. Given a bottle on arrival that can be used for the machine in the hallway offering Britt filtered water cold or warm as well as sparkling water. Wide selection of drinks offered as well as food had no need to leave to go elsewhere. Staff were friendly and informative."

"I was tempted to leave a terrible review to put everyone else off but that seemed perhaps a little unfair. This was the most magical, wonderful place to spend time with our children who were utterly entranced with the ponds and loved every moment in the pools. By day #2, one of our 7 year olds was asking if there are schools nearby and could we just live here? Beautiful gardens, fabulous wildlife (learning the French for hedgehog!), late sunsets and a lovely host. Thank you. "

"Nice room with en-suite. The shower was rather awkward to use as it did not have a high wall mounting but that was the only inconvenience we had. No a/c but a fan was provided although we bought our own small fans which were much quieter. Breakfast was fresh with lots of things to choose from. The central location was important to us as was the proximity of parking. The hotel car park was full on arrival but there are two public car parks one above and one below ground within a 5 min walk. We would happily return if staying in Angers again."

"Nous avons passé 4 jours dans ce gîte entre amis et tout s'est très bien déroulé. Le logement est spacieux, propre comme il faut (C'est à dire que l'on s'y sent à l'aise pour vivre et non aseptisé) et parfaitement adapté à un grand groupe. Les espaces de vie sont conviviaux et chacun a pu profiter du séjour confortablement. La piscine a été un vrai plus, très appréciée par tout le monde, surtout en temps de canicule. L'environnement est agréable et calme, idéal pour se retrouver entre amis. Les échanges avec les propriétaires ont été simples, rapides et sympathiques. Nous recommandons ce gîte sans hésiter pour un séjour en groupe."
