"2 nights stay for our anniversary and it was amazing. We were in the Chapman Suite which was situated in the roof and it was perfect for us. Had to trek up a couple of flights of stairs, which if you are unfit like me it's a bit tiring but worth it. The bed was so comfortable my husband said it was the best nights sleep he'd had in ages. Gentleman in reception was very welcoming, showed us to our room then came back moments later to provide us with a fan. The room had everything you could possibly need; iron, ironing board, fridge, kitchen sink, kettle, cups, glasses, cutlery etc. There was a bath in the room as well as a shower in the ensuite bathroom. There are a few minor things that require a little maintenance but nothing that effected our experience. The bar/restaurant was also really nice and appeared to be a popular place. Highly recommended."

"Location was very good, short walk to the clock tower and shops. Staff were brilliant. Check in was smooth and we managed to get into the room a little early. The room (we stayed in 319) was as described, it had a very big balcony with a view to the sea. The bathroom was quite small but we could live with that to have the balcony and views. The food was excellent, we booked bed and breakfast but also had a dinner in. Breakfast was buffet style. The dinner menu gave a reasonable choice of items. Whilst the stay was value for money and we would stop here again, purely for the above reasons, the hotel in general was in need of some work to bring it back to it's former glory."

"Easy check in, we stayed in the Arch rooms which were clean, comfortable and had a lovely courtyard which would have been great to sit in had the weather been good. Very welcoming in the pub by the Barman and great pub food"
