Each morning a short drive to the boulangerie In Bedoin and then sit outside the property looking down at the world going by with a coffee, fresh baguette, Comte cheese and a beef tomato you could not be anywhere better in the world. "The location is good, just an easy walk to the village. Kitchen is functional and stocked well for cooking and dining. Common space was decent for the three of us, though a bit small. "This is a very nice house, run by very nice people. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived. It appears to be recently painted or otherwise kept very clean. Opening the shutters in the bedroom when you arise is itself an inspiration. One has a magnificent view of the town of Bedoin and the surrounding mountains. Our small dog loved the large back yard. "The house in Montaulieu has beautiful views from the roof top terrace and a shaded terrace in the small garden in front of the house, which was very nice during the heat. The interior has a nice modern touch with a spacious kitchen and living room and a ensuite bedroom upstairs. Another bedroom is in the basement and has a separate entrance. We were very well taken care of from the friendly owner who lives next door. He arranged a man to repair the wifi that didn't function very well first but...

"We had a great stay. Host was very friendly and helpful. Property was very clean, welcoming and had everything we needed for a week's stay including dishwasher and washing machine (although, the addition of a kettle would be really useful for the British tea-lovers!). A peaceful location with fantastic views of Mont Ventoux, the shaded garden would be perfect in the summer. Parking is right next to the property and its just a short drive/cycle (around 2km) from Bedoin."

"This is the fourth time I have been to La Prairie. I come here mainly to indulge my hobby of astrophotography as the skies are dark and the weather good, but you can't guarantee clear skies at night even in the south of France! Francoise is very welcoming, helpful and never intrusive. Isis the dog is perhaps the most friendly dog you will ever meet. The view across to the hills is amazing, the gite is clean and comfortable and I am sure I will return again."
