Secluded Cabin in the Woods, near Carolina Horse Park and Valkyrie Sporthorses

This small cozy cabin is secluded and very much in the woods, approximately 0.6 of a mile off NC Hwy 211, between Raeford NC and Aberdeen NC, down an unpaved road. Enjoy peace and quiet and communing with nature. Not far from Carolina Horse Park, (3.3 miles). Dreamville MX (11 miles ),Pinehurst NC, (16.miles), Aberdeen NC (9 miles), Southern Pines NC, (11miles), Raeford NC, (9 miles). Fayetteville NC, (29 miles). The cabin is small, but but will sleep three people comfortably. It has a queen size bed, a full length sofa (not a sofa bed), and a twin size electric blow up mattress.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed in the cabin. As soon as we walk in it feels like home. The cabin is rustic with modern appliances. It has everything you need. It is secluded and quite. We really enjoy sitting on the porch drinking our coffee and watching nature.

This was my second stay at this cabin. I absolutely love it! Very clean! The host is wonderful to deal with. The quietness of the cabin after a long day at the horse park makes it worth every penny!

Perfect place to relax

This cabin was absolutely wonderful. It's quiet and secluded but still feels safe. It's convenient to the Carolina Horse Park and not too far from Southern Pines for dinner. Would love to come stay here again!

Another fabulous stay

This was our third time staying at Mr Henry’s cabin and once again it was fabulous. So clean and everything ready for us. True rustic meets modern cabin. We love it and will be back soon.

We stayed here for Christmas 2023. We loved it so much that we stayed again while visiting my son and his family. The minute we walked in it felt like home. Any time we have large get togethers at my sons house we prefer to stay at the cabin for peace and quite.

We had an amazing stay at Henry's cabin. We were in town to visit our daughter, son in law, and granddaughter for the weekend. Henry's cabin was exactly what we were looking for- a peacuful, quiet, comfortable getaway. Henry was great to work with, and always quick tonrespond to any messages.

Serene, tranquil, and relaxing

This is our second time staying at this cabin. The comfort is spot on. One of the best feelings is sitting on the screened porch in the morning, having coffee, and listening to all of the birds. Just an amazing little gem hidden in the woods.

Thanksgiving Getaway

Cabin just as described. Clean and well stocked. Kitchen had everything I needed to prepare some Thanksgiving sides. Great communication with Henry, the owner. Perfect place for my husband and I to unwind while spending the holiday with family. We brought our side by side and were able to use it for all travel between the cabin and our daughter’s farm. Perfect!

Quiet and peaceful

What a charming little cabin. Very clean and well outfitted. Even provide coffee, tea, basic things. Private and quiet. The owner was very welcoming, responsive and made sure we found our way. Only wish that could stay longer and that it was warmer so we could enjoy the outdoor porch more.

Little piece of quiet with generous host

This property is exactly as advertised, Henry was friendly, welcoming, and very generous. My gf and i spent our anniversary there with my dog, and it was perfect. Cabin is tucked away, my dog was able to gamble around and sniff things, and we were able to enjoy ourselves. Henry made special accommodations waiting for us and my dog, which was a very thoughtful touch that made us feel very welcome. It was a privilege to learn the cabin's history, and us to stay there.

Wonderful and peaceful

The cabin sits on over 100 acres of forested land. It was so peaceful! The views were fabulous! While the cabin is rustic, the amenities and all appliaces were new or near new. Henry met us the first night to guide us down the dirt road to the cabin. When we woke up the next morning and saw the property in daylight, we were in Awww. We will be staying there again in the future. were new or near new.
