"Air conditioning not working 3/5 -upside- fun and great views, breakfast was yummy, cookies wonderful, fun happy hour with fun wine. I loved the ride/beach chairs/umbrella. Loved that the balcony was screened in to keep out the bugs. Downfall- The AC was out down stairs and all that was said was “AC is out downstairs…sorry” on a sign on the front desk. "Perhaps it's because this hotel itself is brand-spanking-new, or Drury's management just keeps its properties looking and running their best, but my stay at the chain's new North Charleston location couldn't have been better. I got the room location I requested, even though the hotel was teeming with family crowds in town for multiple high school graduation ceremonies the next day. Everyone seemed to be well served by the friendly, attentive staff. This is not my first experience at a Drury hotel, but there hasn't been a bad one yet. On even one of the busiest possible days, this hotel appears to be off to a great start."
