"Lovely Sunday night stay at a charming Inn. The staff were very polite and friendly and the breakfast was excellent. The room was a little hot but there was a Dyson fan which worked well. In the bedroom were Coffee and tea making facilities and an iron and ironing board. There was no wardrobe but there was a hanging rail ( definitely ok for an overnight stay). "Ideal location for the centre of town. Comfortable room with all requirements for an overnight stay. Perfect location to start the coastal path walk. Stayed at the beginning of walk Sunday very quiet at night. Stayed at end of walk Saturday night. Very noisy outside in street until early hours, even with windows closed Otherwise great place to stay. Staff lovely and helpful. Meal choice good and plentiful "

"Great for short stay over. We stopped overnight on our way to a cruise holiday with family. Had 2 double en-suite rooms. Very clean. Met the housekeeper she was lovely and chatty. We contacted the hotel weeks before and mentioned the eta and they had our rooms ready for 2pm check in. There is a pub underneath they allow to order food or bring your own in to eat in there. There is a garage over the road that also serves cold sandwiches and snacks. Another pub a little walk away that does food...

"A pub/hotel full of character and in a great location. The room was large, comfortable and well furnished and decorated. Great shower. We had a meal and the food was excellent so to the lovely breakfasts. The building as a whole needed a little tlc and gripes are minor. The manager was somewhat short and harassed at check in and again at dinner. The other staff were charming. Our stay coincided with bin day and the hottest day of the year - so with windows open it was early start for us. The TV...

"Very good facilities in the room and the breakfast has been upgraded to cooked, also very good. Did have a gurgling noise from basin waste in room 6 when another room seemed to be showering. Could wake you if that room was early showers. Otherwise a very good night sleep in comfortable bed "
