Rainer, Great Place to Stay

The Rainer Guest house was awesome! Located near the Othello station made it easy to get back and forth to the baseball game! Perfect stay, Comfortable Beds, quiet atmosphere.

It was easy to go from othello station. It took around 5〜6minutes on foot. And also it was easy to checked in. The room was clean, so comfortable.

Was not at all what i thought it was going to be. others seemed to be a little loud.. Not many places to eat around there for me and my tastes. Didn’t realize even though only 6 miles from where I needed to be in town it took way to long to get to Seattle.

Loved it!

I am happy with my stay. It is not a fancy place, but it has all the necessary basics. I am a female traveling solo and I felt safe walking to a small grocery store a few blocks away. Before bedtime, I could hear other tenants up and about within the building, but thankfully, everyone settled down and I was able to get a good night sleep. If you end up with noisy neighbors, it could be a problem, but there are signs saying property has a “no noise” policy. For my needs, the price and accommodations were perfect! I would definitely like to stay again. Thank you for the ability to make coffee in the morning!! A must have for me!

They said their card reader was broken last minute before my flight out and to use zelle or PayPal. I told them PayPal over email because I didn't want my money stolen and they never replied back. I called 4 times all throughout that day and only got voicemail with no way of leaving a message. I then got a text saying they were canceling my stay for not paying the day of my flight out. I responded very arritated and was told they were banning me from all of their properties. Seems like a scam property setup to me but that was just the vibe I got from talking with Lee at Rainer Guesthouse. I had to then find a last minute hotel because of this person and property management. Don't waste your time like I did.

The room smelled like feet as soon as we walked in. You can smell the bleach and can tell it was recently cleaned but the feet smell really lingers and didn't go away. There was no thermostat to control the room temp, you had to contact the host about that. The room was hot so we opened the window which felt unsafe because the window does not have a screen and it is a ground level room. The kitchen is shared and we couldn't really fit our take-out in the refrigerator until after moving around other people's food. It looked like the refrigerator of someone living there and not a shared space fridge. Check-out was at 11:00 but we felt rushed out of there as someone showed up and started cleaning our assigned bathroom almost an hour beforehand. It was the cheapest room we could find and it definitely felt like it.

VORSICHT FAKE UNTERKUNFT! Die Unterkunft existiert nicht. Man wird aufgefordert, im Voraus seine ID zu schicken und man soll wenige Tage vor der Anreise die Adresse bekommen. Die Adresse wurde nicht mitgeteilt und selbst Expedia konnte niemand erreichen!
