Hotel was older, beds were great, no odors , breakfast was ok, however the gentleman at the hotel desk was the BEST! He was extremely friendly and went above and beyond checking on our room and if we needed anything to make our stay better.
This hotel was rather run-down and not the cleanest. I didn't notice any roaches or other bugs, so that was a plus. Place needs some updating and sprucing up.
Old and worn but very clean. Heating/Air conditioning unit had a short so it kept shutting off. Not ideal, but nice enough to overnight while traveling.
It was exactly what i expected for what i paid. Out door pool was clean, the carpet in the room had stains. What more can you ask for, for 65$. Was easy to see from normal traffic, breakfast was small and orange juice was tart. The lady at the front desk rho was beyond sweet. My mom explained that i had a sprained ankle and the lady gave her an extra pillow and towels to prop my leg up. Quick simple and easy, overall not too shabby.

Not great
Hotel did not look like pictures. Mattress was hard as a rock.
This was an emergency weather related stay and we were very pleased the room was very clean and smelled wonderful the service was polite too would recommend you to everyone who asked where they should stay
I was very happy with hotel and with the staff they were friendly and helpful Hotel was nice rooms clean comfortable nice size Hotel is close to a variety of restaurants close to variety things to do like movies bowling etc Nice experience Ill stay there next time in the Searcy area
The carpet was filthy and the room had a musty smell. I cancelled the second night. The next morning when I went down to check out the man at the desk was rude. He argued with me when I told him Expedia had called the hotel and cancelled the room. Needless to say we won’t stay there again.
The lady a the front desk was absolutely wonderful, I called to let them how that we were going to be late getting there, She said that was fine and that she saw that we had wanted non smoking rooms originally so when one came available she got it for us and we had two rooms but not next to each other so she put us side by side, she did every thing she could to be helpful, that is the kind of employee you want working for you, I didn't get her name, but thank you. Save some Money Stay Here
Searcy being a small town this hotel is what you might expect. Not the nicest, but very clean for its age. It is more affordable than some of the newer hotels along Race Street. Beds were soft and clean...
We were in the midst of a long drive and decided we needed to stop for the night, but had trouble finding a local hotel that accepted a small dog. This hotel did for a very nominal fee, and we were grateful. The room was comfortable for the price, and the fridge, microwave, and new TV were a nice bonus. The hotel layout was a bit odd, but it was quiet and what we needed.
Employee at the desk was pleasant and helpful, but kept the door to the lobby locked at night and was dressed rather casually In jeans and a tank top. A little off putting. Got the feel it wasn't a professionally run business. The room was very musty and smelled terrible. What was there was cleaned, but the smell was very annoying. I was hungry and went to find a vending machine. The only one they had was almost empty of food and the drink machine did not offer water. I didn't really want a sugery drink or tap water, as I wasn't used to the taste so I went without both.
Our employee was booked at this hotel. He requested if he could be moved to a more well lit area to the front of the hotel. The manager would not and ended up messing up the bed, throwing towels on the floor and a bar of soap at our employee to prove our employee had used the hotel and then called the cops on him. When the police arrived and heard the story, they apologized to our employee and told our employee to call them back if the manager would not refund our money. In all the years we have booked through hotels.com, this is the only bad experience we have had with a hotel. It was due to the manager and not the hotel chain itself. Needless to say we will never book an employee at this hotel ever again.
