"My stay was fantastic! The place was clean, well-kept, and exactly as described. The access to the lake was a wonderful bonus; the view was stunning, especially during sunset—a must-see. "We ended up finding this location at the very last minute. IT WAS PERFECT! There was a snafu with our VRBO reservation and we were unable to get in. Once we hopped onto Hotels.com and did a search for something a family of 5 could stay in near Bar Harbor during the busiest time for the area, this house in Acadia popped up. "My family had a wonderful stay in this house. Between hiking in the Schoodic Peninsula, visiting Bar Harbor, and soaking up the view from Cadillac Mountain, we loved swinging on the porch swing, having coffee on the front porch, and relaxing around the dinner table. ""Ocean Views" was a perfect location for our Acadia National Park vacation. It was near the visitor's center where we then used the bus system to get to various parts of the park for our hikes each day. The house had large windows, lots of sunlight and gorgeous views of the ocean. The unit was well stocked with everything we needed (especially the kitchen) so we felt right at home. It was private, quiet and comfortable. Would highly recommend!"

"This property is absolutely beautiful and the hosts are very amiable. We had most breakfasts in the well supplied kitchen after watching the sun rise from our bed and searched for sea glass on the little beach off the back porch. We didnt have a chance to use the fire pit but it was well equipped. Would definately recommend. "

"Listing says it’s walkable, but it’s probably a good 20 minute walk and it’s not ideal with kids because of traffic once you get into Acadia. It is a short drive to Jordan pond house though. Our mattress was from 2007 and we did not sleep good at all because of it. Not enough seats for 4 to relax in living room after a long day of hiking either. Very responsive host so that was a positive."
