Wedgetaildown Accommodation - Into the Wild
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (5)
"From the moment we turned town the driveway to Wedgetail Down we felt like we were in a movie set. The property is stunning and Betty and Peter thought of every detail and little touch to make us feel welcome. Everything you need to cook and bbq is there, the bed is so comfortable, the rain shower so nice after a long day of hiking. The house is fascinating and absolutely gorgeous. Wandering the grounds and being greeted by wildlife everywhere we turned was truly breathtaking. The sunset and...

"The home is comfortable and gorgeous and we loved the wood heater as it was cold enough to use it and we have one like it at home. Proximity to Flinders Chase NP was important for us and the lovely beach was readily accessible for long walks. But what we loved most were the wallabies that came down to the cottage every afternoon for a feed - they were very entertaining and we loved feeding and watching them. "

"We visited from the US as a family of 4 with 2 teenage daughters. We loved the remoteness of the property and seeing the kangaroo & echidna right out the window. If you’re a bird watcher, there is plenty to see! Accommodations were top notch. Excellent quality linens and really comfortable beds. We would stay again if visiting KI in the future. We brought all our groceries from Adelaide which worked out really well. Such a nice welcome tray of local from Yael, the host & we had to go...
