"Once again we had a lovely stay at this beautiful home. We were a group of 6 ladies this time, most of us over 80. We played several card games, ate tons of food and laughed a lot. We all slept well in the comfortable beds. The kitchen is stocked with all the utensils you need to cook with. The large deck has great furniture. It was beautiful weather for June so we were able to have coffee on the deck every morning. We saw several deer including a newborn. Unfortunately, we did not get to see the mother bear and her cubs this year. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay for a family gathering, this place could be what you are looking for. Carolyn is great to deal with and is quick to respond to any questions. We plan to return this fall. It has become our home away from home."

"From the moment we arrived at the Sunshine Beach House, we knew we were in for a treat! We couldn’t get over the stunning ocean front view! The house was plenty big enough for the four of us, and was equipped with everything we needed (including lobster/oyster shucking tools!) The house is in a perfect location, which made it easy for us to travel to points of interest by car. The hosts were also very friendly with welcome messages, accommodating and responsive when we had questions. Our stay was nothing short of exceptional. It’s a place where memories are made, and we left with our hearts full and a promise to ourselves to return. For anyone looking for a peaceful retreat or an adventurous exploration of PEI, this beach house is the perfect choice!"

"The house was great. It was cold while we were there and the house was nice and cozy. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. It’s located in a quiet rural area and there is a small convenience store close by that had all we needed to pick up for our stay. We enjoyed the beach walks. We saw seals, starfish, crabs, & even a couple of foxes on the property. Check in was a breeze. We would love to stay there in the summer sometime. It would be the perfect summer beach house. The bed was firmer than we are used to but we slept great and it’s not uncomfortable. We enjoyed being able to see the beach sitting in bed in the morning! Absolutely loved the place."
