NH Hotel Porto Jardim

8/10 Good

"Great location, lovely modern rooms. Unfortunately we woke to no water so unable to shower or even flush toilets but that was out of their control as construction outside had severed water pipe for whole street! They gave us free parking to apologise. We’d definitely return"

GA Palace Hotel

"It was our first stay at this hotel and I could not praise their services enough. All staff are exceedingly attentive and friendly. The accommodation was excellent, Breakfast very good and varied and the swimming pool was really good, heated (rare in Portugal) at the right temperature. The bar service by the pool was also excellent. Front desk staff helped us with booking restaurants, taxis, transfers, places to visit and with every question we had. The hotel location is very central so we could walk to most spots. No doubt we will be staying there again."

Catalonia Porto

"The Catalonia Porto was a very good spot for our two night stay. Breakfast was very good including a machine that freshly squeezed orange juice. Delicious! Staff was very helpful, organizing our rooms so that we were all on the same floor. I only have two complaints. One is that the water in the shower only had two basic temperaturesm: scalding and cold. I’m not sure what the deal was, but we couldn’t find a happy medium there. The other problem, and this problem was true in other hotels in Portugal, was being forced to hold down the button on the hairdryer to keep it turned on. Obviously not a gigantic problem, but annoying nonetheless."

"ICON Duplo Ribeira was an excellent choice for our stay in Porto. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-appointed, making it a great place to relax after a day of exploring. The breakfast offered a good variety and was a great way to start each morning. The hotel’s location is outstanding—just steps from the Ribeira district and within easy walking distance of Porto’s historic center and main attractions. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Porto."
