"The cottage is very welcoming and is equipped with everything that you may need. It is very central to the lovely village with shops and pub almost within touching distance. The off-road parking is a boon although there was always space on the road if more than one car was used. All-in-all an excellent stay and no doubt we will return as there is so much to see in the area and the cottage makes a wonderful base."

"The plus side: Nice clean cottage, welcome basket with fresh bread, haribo sweets, wine. Flowers on table, tea, coffee, sugar and even treats for the dog. Sky/netflix. Bed very comfy. Nice white towels. Good communication from owner. 2 local pubs- the Nelson ...no food gd beer. Rising sun, pub grub. Both friendly pubs. negative side: Right on a very busy,noisy road. We could not work out why so many lorries etc cut through there. We did sort of get used to the noise except early...

"Fantastic property in a lovely location. Would certainly recommend and stay again. Unfortunately our booking did not seem to have been communicated to the manager and as such the room we had booked was not available. They did mange to host us in an alternate room for the first night of our stay and we moved into the run we had booked for the second night. Both Rooney were perfect however the uncertainty was slightly stressful after a long drive with a 13 month old baby"
