"We had a wonderful time at the property. It is much more spacious than the pictures do it justice. The house was ls clean and well organized and K, the property owner was fantastic. Very responsive to questions and even came and plowed and salted while we were there due to the slow and ice storm we experienced. The property is about 25’ from Elk Mountain but the drive is easy and pretty. I would suggest AWD or FWD of going during the winter since many of the roads in that area are snow and ice...

"Great house to stay just outside the Falls Trail (trail with 21 waterfalls) at Ricketts Glen. The kitchen was nicely equipped with everything we needed to cook meals between hiking. The fire pit was so nice in the evening after hiking during the day. We would stay here again!"

"We booked this to be close to the rural venue of a family wedding. There were 8 of us, including the groom, and we all absolutely loved this house. It feels bigger on the inside than in looks from the outside, the rooms are so spacious and airy, lots of windows and sunlight. Modern in the ways it needs to be but retaining its idyllic, old farmhouse identity. The kitchen is incredible, and served us well in preparing a bunch of wedding food. "This is not a luxury hotel - but this is a great property for getting away from it all with enough room for an extended family! The kitchen is huge and well stocked. Each room has its own window AC and several rooms have their own bathroom. The Dining Room/Sunroom/Living Room layout is great for large groups - we even moved tables around and fit our whole family (20 people) at one long table one night! Don't worry about packing linens and towels (except maybe a beach towel) as that is all taken...
