"Dante’s 3rd level of hell was colder than our room. For some unknown reason room 27 is made for lava lovers. The temp was boiling and no A/C even pretending to work. The front desk couldn’t explain it (nor cared much about our heat stroke), the windows could only be opened a crack. Even the “cold” water was hot, and the hot was scalding. Bar food, was bland and the service was lacking in any sense of urgency or accuracy. Waited 45 mins for our completed order only to be missing the chips...

"The building itself is neat, but it requires a fair amount of repair. The beds were almost unreasonably uncomfortable, the rooms were very loud (I woke up thinking someone was in our room with us because I could hear the people above so clearly, they were just walking around) very warm in the rooms, and in 1/2 of our rooms the showers were broken. However, breakfast was good, handy having a bistro in the hotel and staff were kind to hold onto our luggage while we took the train. The town itself...

"The room was adequate no headboards on beds, room sparse, The TV should be mounted on the wall, furniture dated but clean. Bathroom good size, good shower but the shower gel looked as it had been left behind by last occupant. Disappointed with breakfast no fruit salad and when asked for poached eggs the staff could not provide (really) Overall underwhelming and would not recommend."
