"Me and my 5 friends had a lovely time away. There were stunning views and the house was large and comfortable. Fun board games and a lovely hot tub. We all agreed that the main thing that let it down for us was cleanliness. We had to hoover and clean when we got there - there was a lot of dog hair (we didn't bring a dog). One of the bathrooms was particularly dirty - black mold and black grime in the shower, plug full of hair so wouldn't drain properly. The grass in the garden hadn't been...

"This house is incredible. The check-in, arrival details, and activity details are clear and helpful. The property is large, well maintained, warm, and perfectly situated. We were a group of academics holding a small workshop. There were plenty of spaces for private work, a large table for our workshop, and an excellent kitchen for cooking large meals. We also really enjoyed the games room for evening activities. "

"Nice enough place to stay, location is great and a good base for exploring the Scottish Borders.However, the property is missing quite a few of the kitchen basics; there wasn't enough crockery for our family of 5.Great hob and oven and all appliances work well, however, whole place shakes when washing machine is on, so timing is key!Electric shower was really not great, but the corner bath is lovely.Most importantly; there aren't 1.5 bathrooms... there is one. One toilet, one bath, one shower......

"Perfect location for attending a concert at Floors castle- able to walk there and back easily. Property had everything we needed and more. Very comfortable beds. Lovely welcome basket of goodies. Very responsive host"
