"Easy train and bus ride from where the hotel was to Charmonix . Only issue of the train was it ended early by 8 pm and there was times it did not stop at Taconaz and you had to be prepared to walk back"

Comfortable room, a triple which was effectively two rooms with lots of space. Nothing too grand but very comfortable and clean, with a balcony. The only challenge is the narrow stairs (no lift). "Everything about this hotel is great except for the food. The hotel has a 24h room service but no restaurant and the food is provided in little jars by a catering company. The food is edible but really not what you would expect in France and is poor value for money. I had a quick look at the breakfast buffet but did not bother knowing that nothing is cooked on site and went to a local bakery (Boulangerie Maniez) instead. "Great hotel in great location! Room was perfect. We even had a balcony with a view of the mountains! Staff was helpful. Parking on sight with additional fee. Room rate was great value. "
