"Wir hatten einen tollen und auch recht aktiven Familienurlaub in den Bergen, der durch die schöne Ferienwohnung zusätzlich unterstützt wurde. Es war sauber, alles wichtige vorhanden, gute Ausgangslage für Unternehmungen und nette Vermieter, die für einen Plausch offen waren. Gerne wieder!"

"Pros: Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub im Wendlarhof. Wir wurden sehr herzlich von dem Gastgeber, Familie Gehring empfangen. Die Ferienwohnung war sehr geräumig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Jeden Morgen wurden wir mit frischen Brötchen versorgt. Trotz drei Tage Regenwetter konnten wir sehr viel unternehmen. Es gibt sehr viele Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung, die es lohnt sich anzuschauen. Noch mal vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit bei euch von Familie Bosse aus Bad Salzungen."

"The view to the lake it’s beautiful. The apartment is ok. I found many spiders in the apartment, balcony and hall. There was no dish sponge, hand soap and just a little toilet paper. I wish there was a microwave. I kept bumping my head on the ceiling every time I was going to sit on the sofa. I really liked that there was plenty storage space. I made the reservation for 4 people, but they only left 2 towels and 2 blankets. When I sent an email they delivered everything quickly. I kept bumping...

"Pros: The mountain views"

"The apartment was perfect for our family group of 5. The owner responded to our questions by email quickly and lives in an apartment in the building. So, she was available to help when we were struggling with the German washing machine! The apartment has a beautiful view of the mountains and is well-supplied with kitchen items and linens. The small town of Farchant has a small grocery store and bakery as well as several restaurants."

"This apartment is in a gorgeous setting, near the xc ski tracks, walking distance to a small grocery, and right on the bus line that can get you to other places you may want to go. The hostess is friendly and helpful. The apartment was clean, well-appointed, spacious, and with gorgeous views. We only had to cross the road to get to the XC ski trails, and lovely hiking trails were only a short walk away. We loved our stay here!"

"Pros: Von der nahe gelegenen Autobahn hört man rein gar nichts - auch von der Eisenbahn würde man nichts hören... wenn da nicht die unbeschrankten Bahnübergänge wären. Ab 6 Uhr morgens hupt der Zug mehrmals lautstark etwa 1 mal pro Stunde. Aber um diese Zeit ist der gemeine Wanderer, wenn nicht schon am Berg, so doch bestimmt am Frühstückstisch und kann das Getröte unter Wildwestromantik verbuchen. Ach ja und manchmal ist die Familie Breyer auch recht spontan: z.B. hatte der Sohn des Hauses...

"Pros: The view from the smaller balcony and the hospitality of the host. Cons: Because of the roof beams it was a little complicated to take a shower, the space in there is pretty small."
