"Die Ferienwohnung entsprach ganz meinen Erwartungen. Sie ist schön eingerichtet und liegt, obwohl an einer Durchgangsstraße, recht ruhig an der Elbe. Sie ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für schöne Wanderungen und Landschaftsfotografie. Jedoch ist die Erreichbarkeit der Sehenswürdigkeiten am gegenüberliegenden Elbufer erschwert, da die Brücke im Ort gesperrt ist, so dass man ca. 45 Minuten Umweg in Kauf nehmen muss. Jedenfalls ist die Wohnung sehr geräumig und bietet einer Familie viel Platz und...

"We arrived with 6 guest. The concierge was very attentive and prepared for our arrival. He made sure we were comfortable and ensured we had dinner. This quiet hotel was absolutely beautiful and relaxing. After touring south Germany we needed to slow down a little bit and this was perfect. "

"We loved everything about this property! Our apartment was spacious and the kitchen had practically everything we needed. The surroundings were beautiful. We were able to walk to a train station and a ferry to cross the river into Schmilka, which was absolutely adorable by the way! Some of the best hiking we have ever done was in the mountains behind the town! We would definitely stay here again! Ansgar, the caretaker, was attentive and lovely! Thank you for everything!"

Excellent-with some remarks

"Everything was fine. Excellent and friendly service Two suggestions to the manager: 1. This category of hotel usually offers tea/coffee facilities in the room- keep this standard 2.The bed was quite uncomfortable- two single mattresses of poor quality . On a king or queen bed- put a matching mattress not two put together "

Beautiful Elbtal - great apartment

"Super property, very well equipped, and very well located to explore Saxon Switzerland. It was an easy walk to Bad Schandau if you didn't want to use, or didn't have, a car. Frau Griess, the owner, was very helpful. A wonderful holiday - especially thrilled when the deer came to visit the garden when we were on the balcony!"

Perfect spot

"Big property with lots of little courtyards to sit privately, outside areas with very comfortable armchairs, beautiful terrace for lunch and dinner. Just 3 min walk to the Elbe park with playground, stop for boats and ferries, 2 min walk to the bus, 8 min to the train… the perfect spot to explore the Saxony Switzerland area by foot, bike…"
