The views of the deer each morning are delightful and Twix and Bounty (sheep which look like goats in the field) are lovely and will delight your children. "The gite was tastefully decorated and had all the equipment you need. We visited in a heat wave and the gite was nice and cool and a has a huge bathroom / walk in shower. Lovely terrace outside which gives privacy from neighbours. Matthieu lives opposite and was on hand for anything we needed but not at all intrusive. Also lots of lovely forests nearby to walk or cycle in and it's near enough to the German border to easily have a day in Germany."

We had fresh pastries delivered to start the day; petanque, shooting hoops and wine on the terrace to end the day. Matthieu gave us many great recommendations for wine, restaurants, walking/cycling itineraries. We had a very relaxing, fun few days, thank you."

"Really nice location with a great view. Some utilities upgrade would be welcomed - iron board but no iron. No large knives, just three tiny ones to cut (good luck with Watermon). Swimming pool amazing and clean. Pascale very welcoming. Badminton racquets could also be replaced, as all had snapped strings. Not too far away from Vin de Alsace route - half an hour drive.."
