"It is a good hotel, good room size and bed, no elevator, quiet area, outside from the city center, Rewe close by. The room was very warm but it cools down over night. Basic breakfast. Drinks available to buy. No reception."

The room was much larger than the typical hotel room one finds in Europe. It's in a great location to explore Bamberg. The breakfast was high quality and sumptuous. "Pros: beautiful location, right in the old town and on the water. You can walk everywhere. The room is good sized and has everything you need. Cons: There is a restaurant next door, with a terrace right next to the windows (if your room is on the street side) , so you might get some noise at night. Although when we were here, the terrace was not open, but there were people talking on the street at 11pm and you could hear everything even with the windows closed. Tip: if you drive, don't use Google for directions to the hotel to drop off your luggage (hotel has no parking, but parking garage is nearby). Google directed us to a super narrow street and could barely back out). Call the hotel when you get close. "

"Great little hotel. Clean and newly renovated. Self serve checkin with kee pad works just fine. We did have some problems with our door lock opening. There is a common dininning area with fridge, microwave, etc.. We would come again."
