"This hotel was incredibly charming and wonderfully decorated. The beds are so comfortable and accommodations perfect in the biggy bunk room! The bunk bed would be incredibly comfortable for grown adults! The AC didn’t work very well as it is an older building and we couldn’t leave windows open because Amsterdam doesn’t sleep! I loved hearing laughter though of people enjoying themselves! The hotel is super close to a tram stop and we walked or trammed the entire time we were there! Amsterdam was nothing but awesome for our family. You can train all over the Netherlands within 40 minutes and with the tram to Amsterdam centraal 10 minutes away we got to see a lot! Loved the Hoxton Lloyd!!!"

"I’ve already stayed in this hotels before and I had a great experience. I love the area, having a beer in front of the canal, and even going for a pool swim after walking around the city. The trams make it well connected too, but bikes and walking are also good. This latest time though they surprised me with a free upgrade. The room with the bathtub was AMAZING!! I’ll for sure stay here again next time I’m in Amsterdam, and I’ll see if that room with the bathtub overlooking the canals is available"

"The property was amazing. The breakfast buffet had great selections for food and drinks. Their room service was quick and made figuring out dinner plans on my last night seamless. The staff were so helpful and accommodating. I brought the wrong power adapter and they were able to provide one for me to rent and really helped me figure out how to get around. I can’t imagine my stay without their help "

"Only a few minutes walk from the central (train) station. About a 5-7 min walk to Albert H supermarket. Plenty of sightseeing anround the hotel. Overall a Very convenient location. If you don’t have a lot of luggage or small children, you can definitely save some money and take the train from airport to the central station. Otherwise a taxi/uber is a wise choice. The dryer is the same unit as the washer. The instructions for dryer mentioned the shortest cycle is almost 3 hours so I didn’t use it. I hung the clothes to dry and everything dried the next day. "
