Turtle Lake Beach House - Get Up North Retreats

"We loved our stay at this Turtle Lake home! My sister and I were there with our three kids ages 11 - 15. We spent most of our time outdoors, soaking up the lake experience, but had all our meals at the house. We heard a lot of lions and were treated to a visit from a pair of river otters in the quiet little cove. The lake was peaceful and not a lot of noisy boaters during our stay, which was our preference. The fishing was amazing. My son caught many good sized largemouth bass, bluegill, and some perch right off the dock and from the canoe. We appreciated all the water toys and everyone made use of them throughout the stay. Every evening we relaxed by the fire pit. We also enjoyed hiking through Chippewa National Forest at the Suomi Hills trailhead. All in all a wonderful vacation and I highly recommend this rental."

"The cabin was absolutely beautiful! So many places to sleep and tons of places to sit and relax, lots of eating areas and the game room was a big hit with everyone!! TVs were everywhere but we never even turned them on because of all the other things to keep us busy. Every morning I would walk and listen to the loons on the lake!! I can't recommend this cabin enough!!! The host, Sandra is absolutely amazing also!"

"Great property. Only a couple minor issues. The front door was hard to close and lock. Also more fans would be helpful for better airflow in the heat. Other than that it was a great stay. Look forward to possible future stays."

"We enjoyed our stay at this cabin! We especially loved how close the cabin was to the water—it made it easy to enjoy the lake throughout our stay. The swim raft was a great feature and provided hours of fun.The location was quiet, peaceful, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Fishing right off the dock was excellent, and we caught plenty of fish. Having the fishing boat with the trolling motor included was a huge bonus and made getting out on the lake easy and enjoyable.The host was responsive and easy to communicate with, making the entire experience smooth from start to finish.Thank you for sharing your cabin with us. "What an amazing property and tiny house! The tiny has was easy to find and get into thanks to clear communication from the host. The freshly baked banana bread was an awesome touch(: Kaila went above and beyond helping us find the place and recommending things around town. The house had everything you could need with its tiny kitchen, smart TV, and organized bathroom. I’d absolutely recommend staying here again!"
