It has a beautiful history and the place is absolutely breathtaking the mountains are gorgeous and the hot tub was perfect. The drive up is a little scary in a car (I was in a Nissan Sentra) and had no issues though but going down is a lot easier lol. It’s a beautiful place I loved it hope to stay again. "

"We enjoyed our little family stay at the cabin! Relaxing sounds from the creek in a remote valley near Table Rock and Jocassee. Only suggestion would be to install a w/d for those who stay longer than a weekend. Closest laundry mat is 30 min away -otherwise wonderful!!!"

"Rented for whitewater rafting on the Chattooga. Communication was terrific and check in was easy. Pretty steep roads climbing to the house but well worth it. Loved sitting on the deck with a cocktail and a book. Really quiet and exceptional view. Very clean and comfortable, including the beds. Everything we needed."

"We enjoyed the location of this cabin, secluded enough but easy to get to. Sky Valley is a nice resort. House was clean, great layout, big rooms and bathrooms were updated. Very quiet location convenient to many places- we visited Franklin and Dillsboro. Hiked Scaly Mountain and Blackrock. Our only glitch was access code to door did not work - casa was helpful but glad we arrived before dark. Leaves were everywhere which made walking to door tricky. No firewood for pit. No Tv instructions- but...

"We had a delightful stay at this cottage in the woods, a peaceful, quiet and relaxing ambience with pretty walks at one’s doorstep. It was amazing how many amenities were fit into this compact space. Two double bedrooms, two full baths with tubs, a large kitchen with washer, dryer and a comfortable living area to sit and relax. The kitchen was well equipped such that we ate in as often as out. The comfortable beds made for a restful nights sleep. Everything in its place, it was perfect."
