This is a spectacular boutique hotel! The views of the coastline and the floor-to-ceiling windows in the rooms cannot be beat. This is 5-stars for the room views, the service, the updated exquisiteness of the décor, and the added amenities (pool, balconies, outdoor dining, access to oceanfront restaurants, etc. Don’t expect a Sheraton or Hilton type place….this isn’t that, and you shouldn’t be here looking for that here. Truly the most incredible service. They gave recommendations for food right when we got there and on our last day when the ferry was canceled assisted with helping me find other transportation. Best breakfast of my life. We were celebrating my 30th birthday and they brought me a candle!! The shower was the shower of my dreams. I would recommend this place to anyone!

This is a great hotel from staff to location to views. It also has probably the best restaurant on the coast, better than Eolo.

On our arrival after a difficult car drive from Naples we were met with charming and helpful staff.This continued throughout our five day stay.They were extremely lovely, friendly and very helpful. This was our first visit to Sorrento. The hotel was beautiful with a great full breakfast. Room was spacious, staff was friendly & the housekeepers sweet. We had dinner twice in the rooftop dinning room overlooking the bay. The sunset was amazing. The waitstaff friendly , the food five star. We also danced to the music which made it very romantic. We enjoyed our stay . The staff were pleasant and extremely helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Our was big and the view of the coast from our room was magical . The bartender at the bar is so pleasant and helped us out a lot his drinks were also so good. The hotel is about a 20 min drive to Positano and Amalfi . The walk to the beach is about 8 mins and there are 2 restaurant options by the beach which were good

The path winding through the cliffs to the small bar and lounge chairs along the water is very unique. Very small wading pool on upper terrace. Classic double room was small and non-descript. Disappointed with the size of balcony and the sea view from room!

The Ara Maris which is referred to as the new hotel was one of my best stays at any hotel in all my travels, which is considerable.
