"Check in was a little slow. Hotel has a lot of steps. Even in room and in hall ways. Good hotel but if you have a lot of luggage the stairs are a bit annoying."

"The room was clean and comfortable, and staying in a historic building gave the hotel some character. However, parking was quite inconvenient. It cost €35 per day, and the parking facility was located several hundred metres away from the hotel, which made arriving with luggage more difficult than expected. Overall, the room itself was fine, but the parking situation could definitely be improved."

"Great location and a nice hotel overall. Unfortunately, the bed and pillows were uncomfortable, and the room was quite noisy at night, making it difficult to sleep. Overall, a good stay, but the comfort and noise levels could be improved."

"The hotel is in a great location. However, it needs some updating. The biggest thing is the elevator needs to be updated!!!! My sister and I got stuck inside which was a traumatic situation. It stopped and the doors opened half way then the doors got stuck and it would not move once the doors closed. The staff acted like this happens all the time. It was extremely hot and no air and a frightening experience. Other guests were complaining about the elevator to deaf ears. It might be a good idea to update the breakfast with a bit more options. The rest of the stay was good."

"Beautiful property and location. Everyone on the staff was pleasant and welcoming. Vistamare breakfast and dinner were excellent. Pool and beach area are well kept and inviting. The concierge and reception staff were all first class and provided exemplary service. I would highly recommend this luxurious property if you are staying in or near Santa Margarita Ligure."
