"Lamangata was one of the best stays I've ever had. The property sits high in the hills above the jungle with views all the way to the ocean, and the infinity pool looking out over the valley is unreal, especially at sunrise and sunset. The team plans everything for you. Each morning a hand-drawn chalkboard lists the tide times, meals and the day's activities, so all we had to do was show up. Our surf instructor started us off in the pool before taking us out in the ocean, which made learning feel easy and safe. They also set up a zipline and a trip to the Nauyaca waterfalls, and the transport ran right on time. The food was a highlight: fresh, colorful and made from scratch every day. Avocado toast, tacos, poke bowls, shrimp ceviche, BBQ ribs. Everything was delicious. The rooms are beautiful, with warm wood, stone sinks, soft lighting and a walk-in shower, and they were spotless. The common areas feel open and calm. What really set it apart was the staff. They were warm and attentive and made us feel like family. On our last day they gave us printed photos from the trip with a thank-you note, a touch we'll never forget. I can't recommend it enough and can't wait to come back."

"We stayed on the adults bus not side and loved everything about our stay! The staff were so helpful, the room was spacious and clean, and the view was awesome! We only wish we had stayed longer"

"We picked San Bada because it's literally next to the park entrance. It was so nice after a long sweaty hike to get back to the room, eat lunch and use the pool. I didn't realize how amazing the hotel would be. Extremely friendly staff, incredible breakfast, and epic views from our balcony and rooftop. We heard howler monkeys, and saw toucans and scarlet macaws while sipping great coffee each morning. I would definitely return."

"Our stay at La Mariposa Hotel in Manuel Antonio was phenomenal and, so far, our favourite stay in Costa Rica! The views throughout the property were incredible, and the entire experience was wonderful from start to finish. The staff at the front desk were welcoming and helpful, and the service throughout our stay was excellent. The pools were clean and well-maintained, and the breakfast was fantastic, with plenty of options for everyone in the family. We were lucky enough to see the resident sloth a couple of times, and squirrel monkeys also passed by during our stay. These wildlife encounters made the experience even more special. Between the beautiful views, excellent service, great breakfast, lovely pools, and wildlife, La Mariposa made our stay truly memorable. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Manuel Antonio!"

"Me gustó todo de este alojamiento, nos recibieron con una bebida refrescante ideal por el calor del lugar, las habitaciones cómodas, limpias y permiten descansar plácidamente. El desayuno con variedad y preparado al momento, muy rico, lo mismo que las otras opciones del menú. Se ubica a pocos minutos del parque nacional. Recomiendo el lugar sin duda alguna, volvería todas las veces a este alojamiento, no hablo solo por mi sino por el grupo de 6 personas que éramos."

"EXCELLENT!!! This place was a dream come true. The pool was Huge, very deep and swimable and really warm. We went with 6 adults and 5 kids and had the time of our lives. Watching the monkeys play on the roofs was something we will never forget. All the toucans and so many other birds flying overhead during the day made it so interesting and the Owls watching us swim at night in a nearby tree was a real treat to listen too. Spotting all the different wildlife on the property was so cool, we saw deer, lizards, huge frogs, a huge snake in the tree and other smaller mammals that made the drive too and from the villa very fun and enjoyable. The place was Very clean, maintained and well supplied. No complaints at all. You definitely need a four wheel drive to get back to the villa. But Soooo worth it!!!!"
