Intimate Getaway for Two, Steps from Forsyth Park by Lucky Savannah

  • Stay just Northwest of Forsyth Park and within walking distance to all of Savannah's shopping, dining, and attractions. Two Lucky guests will call this quaint cottage home - fit with a master bedroom and full kitchen.

    Enter through the courtyard off Whitaker Street and into your peaceful oasis. Cobb's Cottage is the ground-level carriage apartment behind a Savannah manor. Walk into the main living area with ample places to kick back and relax. A full kitchen with range and refrigerator provides the essentials needed for a quick meal. The primary bedroom boasts a Queen size bed with luxury-grade linens and en suite full bath.

    Head due East and grab brunch with the locals at Clary's Cafe. Stop into ShopSCAD and nearby retailers in the Downtown Design District to take home a Savannah souvenir. Just a short walk North will lead you further into the charming historic district.

    Parking for this home is on-street and metered, which is enforced by the City of Savannah from Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. Guests may conveniently pay using the ParkSavannah app, feed the meter or parking kiosks directly, or park on a nearby non-metered street. Please take note of posted Sweep Zone signs when parking on the street.

Great Location

This property was ideally located for those who want to walk around Savannah. Just north of Forsyth Park we could easily walk all over the historic district. It was clean and had everything we needed. It's an older location but fit in with the history of Savannah.

We liked the convenience. Water pressure was a bit weak. Parking was readily available. We bought a two-day pass at Bryan Street Parking Office.

Perfect location!

We loved our carriage house! The location is perfect - we walked or biked everywhere. Being so close to Forsyth Park is a real plus. The host, Chris, is great! He gave us ideas on things to do and parking. We loved Savannah - we hope to be back and stay in this charming place again!

Cozy and comfortable - perfect for a couple.

The unit is a street level flat and very conveniently located adjacent to Forsyth Park in a quiet neighborhood. We truly enjoyed our stay. The air conditioning worked perfectly and it was nice to use the kitchen for breakfasts and snacks. The on street parking was no problem at all. Everyone we met was friendly and courteous. We will be back and would definitely stay there again.

Great Location

My sister and I were in Savannah for three nights. This VRBO was perfect for us. We were next to Forsyth park and could walk to Bay st and River st. We found street parking easily and bought the two day parking pass at the Savannah parking office. The bed was comfortable and we had enough room to spread out. We would stay here again on our next visit.

At first glance, the place looks clean, but could use a deep cleaning. Very thick layers of dust and dirt on window sills. There was a thick layer of dusty concrete under the brick wall and a couple of dead bugs. Management should do a better tidy. Other than that, the place has potential and is very charming.

Staff was very responsive in refunding our pet fee with empathy and courtesy.Fantastic location for easy walking to the historic district, as well as very close parks for your dog. We found handy free parking in the block between the property and Forsyth Park.Refrigerator and stove were spotless. Extra coffee filters were provided, as well as a pack of local coffee. Plenty of kitchen utensils, but no hotpads (bring your own!).Also, the digital confirmation is generic. It mentions pods for a dishwasher, but no dishwasher. It mentions detergent for washer, but no washer or dryer.The space was just fine for our overall needs. Plenty of towels plus small soaps and shampoo. Soft linens.Deep maintenance issues are long-standing (see other reviews). Deep clean needed on flooring; cleaning of rugs; and replacement of blinds.

Excellent location next to Forsyth Park but apartment is very dated, both decor and physical structure. There's very little natural light due to proximity to sidewalks since all blinds have to be closed for privacy. There's a lot of car and public event noise.
