Wildlife abounds - deer appearing in the field, butterflies, birds of prey, geckos and the star of the show the midwife toad whose sonar like call will astonish! "We would not hesitate to recommend this rental. Martine’s communications were always prompt and thorough. We particularly appreciated that she left us breakfast for our first morning having arrived in the early hours. Home made plum jam was such a treat. We were blessed with wonderful weather so made full use of the fabulous pool which Martine cared for, discreetly, every morning. It was nice to have a variety of sitting out areas. The kitchen has everything you’ll need for cooking—pots and pans, dishes, utensils, etc. Our hosts, John Luc and Cathie were wonderful. They live on the property in a separate house but give you all the privacy you need. If we had a problem on how to work something, JL would respond immediately and come help us.
