"Very nice stay! The room was clean and the staff super friendly. They helped us with our activities bookings and made our stay successful and pleasant.
We highly recommend ☺️🙏"
"Dingy room with dirty bedsheets, torn curtains, the fan did not work nor did the air conditioner and NO HOT WATER. One of the shabbiest places I have ever come across."

"My stay in Green Mansions was just phenomenal.
I constantly forgot I was in Chitwan as the hotel was so much more gorgeous and beautifully designed than many 5 star hotels in the big cities. You could tell the owner has great taste and aesthetics.
Every detail in the room and the yard were well thought of: Nice little plants in room; Plenty of trees around room to provide privacy, and a gorgeous view when you look up from the hammock.
The activities were amazing too. Kanan is a wonderful guide. In the jeep safari, our driver navigated the trip slowly and gave us enough time whenever we spotted animals. While all other jeeps rushed through the forest, we were the only group to spot a beautiful scene of a deer family walking across a grassland, as probably some of them only come out before sunset when it gets cooler.
No need to worry about food too. The restaurant provides excellent food. The friendly and professional service from Cwin was much appreciated.
Definitely the place to stay whenever you are in Chitwan."
"Overpriced, overhyped, and overwhelmingly disappointing
I genuinely don’t understand the rave reviews about Sapana Village Lodge, my stay felt more like a lesson in what not to do in hospitality. Sure, the view is lovely… but you can’t sleep on a view. The room? Dim, musty, and crawling with ants quite the “rustic charm,” if that’s what you’re into. The bathroom felt like it hadn’t seen a proper cleaning in ages, and the linens had a damp, moldy smell that made me question everything.
The service was painfully slow and disorganized. I waited over an hour for dinner and when it finally arrived, it was bland, lukewarm, and overpriced. The staff were friendly, but the whole place felt like it was running on guesswork and good intentions rather than actual management.
What really pushed me over the edge was the outrageous pricing for activities. They charge a premium for basic excursions like canoe rides and jungle walks and we later found the exact same experiences literally down the road for half the price, with better guides and no pushy upselling. It felt like they were taking advantage of guests who didn’t know any better.
If you’re into paying luxury prices for a mediocre lodge and a side of frustration, then maybe this is the place for you. "
"Loved my stay here. Very nicely run lodge— a great choice in the area that provides an upscale experience for a very reasonable amount. The staff were all lovely, the owner ever-present, making sure you’re having a great stay. But the stand-outs were the safari guides, who were so friendly and knowledgeable and worked very hard to ensure a great experience in the park. Saw tons of animals—so many rhinos!—but sadly no tigers, though the guides were super committed to trying to spot."
"The best things about this resort are the location and the staff. Sabrina on reception is always smiling and cheerful. She has "magic fingers" which repairs things. Sitaram Streatham is an outstanding waiter in the restaurant. He is very attentive but also very knowledgeable about local wildlife. Lovely gentle mannered man. Our room was very comfortable. The bathroom is a wet room so i struggle with wet floors but i bought a floor squeegy in town for just over £1 and that helped a lot. The food in the restaurant is very good and reasonably priced. Beer prices are good too. "
