"We stayed in Beaucele for two week weeks in August. We wanted to canoe on the Cele and the location of the house was perfect for this. There were five of us in total, myself and four teenagers ranging from 13 to 17. We brought our own canoes, but there are many well organised businesses renting canoes for very reasonable prices including the transfer to your starting point, which might be a simpler way of doing this. Philippe kindly drove me back to where I had left the car at our starting point...

"Beau manoir dans un parc magnifique. Vastes séjour et cuisine, propriétaire charmant et réactif. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour. Seul bémol, ni la wifi ni la TV ne marchait lors de notre séjour. Si comme moi vous avez prévu un visio-conférence + regarder l'équipe de France au mondial de rugby mieux vaut vous assurer du fonctionnement."

The house and setting were beautiful, the pool was an absolute delight, the river was close by and deliciously cooling and everything was high quality, worked well and had been thoroughly thought through. Highly recommended. The only thing that could have improved it would be air conditioning in all the bedrooms rather than just the largest. All round though it was superb."

"Nous avons passé 2 semaines en famille avec des enfants/ados chez Olivier en Août. La maison est très agréable à vivre, très bien meublée et équipée, literie au top. La campagne environnante est très calme et magnifique. Nous y étions pendant la semaine chaude en août, les murs de pierre, la redescente importante des température pendant la nuit et la piscine nous ont permis de passer cette période sans la subir. "We were a bit scared for the state of the home due to some other reviews below, but honestly nothing to be afraid of. Yes, the house is a bit old but other than that it was more than okay. There is a big garage that we used as our gym, the room in the garage and toilet were okay. No humidity. The space in the living room and dining room was very big, so ideal for the 8 of us.
